Update regarding tpms installation:

I installed maxidot cluster, changed BCM from 087M to 087AD, installed sensors ,tpms module wired and coded.

TPMS display failed to appear on cluster

VCDS autoscan shows tyre pressure status ok. The tpms module detects the sensor position, current pressure under measured values in address 65 but fails to display on cluster.

You must make the file with the data you want for the tyres of your car with the RDKS program/editor and load/transfer them with VCP or ODIS-E in 65 Address so that the pressures and menu can be visualized in your New IC/display.

Thanks a lot, as usual you are a Master troubleshooter.

After spending just shy of 1000€ for this entire installation, I felt nervous for a moment when tpms display didn't appear on cluster

I don't have VCP nor ODIS-E, have to find a way out to get hold of one of these. Here some retro fitters are quoting ridiculously high price(130€ )

to just fill in the parametric file into module which I have already prepared.

Master, after adding the new BCM code provided by you, the fault codes disappeared but bulb out warning appeared on new IC. MY non OEM headlights are working correctly with all functions like before, even in presence of those 2 fault codes.

Buy the VAS5054 from ali... , and install the ODIS-E program (under W7).

Today, I transfered the TPMS data into the module via ODIS-E with the help from Govind Sharma. The data set writing was successful, but then again, the TPMS display failed to display on IC.

I checked with VCDS after that, TPMS module status is ok , measured values are displaying sensor position and tyre pressures correctly.

Really frustrating to not to see the TPMS display on IC inspite of correct installation.

I don't understand, where is the missing link.

I have started to think, whether the BCM high 087AD fully supports direct TPMS.

For all who have installed BCM Max, direct TPMS is displaying on IC for them. Should I try BCM Max and check? for that then, I need to do BCM wiring for Max.

I do not know where the missing link is, maybe you're the first one trying the Direct TPMS with BCM High. The result has a great relevance.

I do not know. Try it.
It is possible that the data is not sent from the Gateway to the IC through the powertrain CAN line (your current installation)... and as you have thought the BCM Max is needed with the new CAN lines for the IC (T73b 54,57). That you had in mind from the beginning of this thread.

Yes, but in this test you must add the new CAN lines for the IC with the new BCM Max and isolate the old powertrain CAN lines for IC.
It is explained in many tutorials I did for others, I think you already know how to do it.

Well, as this is a simple test to try to run your TPMS in your New IC, some new faults will appear in the autoscan with the new BCM Max due to your NO-OEM headlights and Chinese automatic light kit, ... for now do not worry about them, we will try to solve them later in the cheapest way for you.There is a way to wire your new BCM Max, fuse box and 17-pin connector in OEM way, without the need to install original headlights or the automatic lighting system, but it is likely that you have to assume some faults in the VCDS autoscan although the lights work correctly.

Finally, finally, the Max did the magic.

The much awaited TPMS menu appeared on the IC, after installing BCM Max.

The tyre pressures are read correctly on IC, and I could able to load parametric data as per my liking.

I could able to activate driver alert also through ODIS-E, my heartfelt thanks to Govind Sharma for sending me his VAS 5054 and helping me with all this.

I wonder, what was the problem with BCM High 087AD, may be the gateway(incompatible SW, HW to support Direct TPMS) was unable to feed the required data to IC, as you said Master.

Many questions remain, nevertheless, a lesson learned hard way, we all fall to rise again!

Now coming to the issues faced after installing BCM Max, VCDS threw lot errors as expected.

Following functions are not working now:

1. Reverse lights, reverse camera (mine is aftermarket license plate camera).

2. Cornering lights not working( with both steering and turn light indicator stalk), fogs are working though.

3. 8k OPS display not working, but sensors are working.

Rest all other functions are working, including the dimmer switch.

I wish to wire the BCM Max properly oem way with adaptation, Master your help is paramount here. I also wish to retain my present non oem healights and chinese auto light module.

Have you tried to Reset/Reboot your radio system?

I tried rebooting the Radio, OPS is not displaying still. All 8 sensors are working with beep and dash switch gets lit whenever OPS is activated but no display.
