Thinking about all the retrofits you want to do there is a super user in this forum that could help you. Adam87.
He has all the knowledge, tools, diagnostic tools and experience for all your retrofits are a total success. (My help is also guaranteed, of course)

237 miles away separate you from him, maybe too much distance.
Try to contact him if you want, maybe you reach an agreement with him.

Thank you for that-I will try nearer first, but at least I know someone else if needed!

Well, despite not having the Autoscan of your 6R BlueGT but because I have a huge amount of them I send you the 7E0 BCM/Gateway already coded and ready to work. The only thing someone will have to do with the VCDS cable is Matching your remote controls.

These are the codings already installed:

Gateway

Coding
002104
Installation list
01 03 04 08 09 10 15 17 19 25 2E 44 56 61

7E0 BCM

Coding
3CB029B808E12400B3280FB06CEB9ED05FC0612F608C20C1200400020000

---

Installation process

- Remove the original steering wheel. (according to Elsawin, erWin ... battery ground wire)
- Remove 7H0 BCM.
- Install the wiring for automatic lights. (According to instructions viewtopic.php?f=56&t=73828&start=15#p562353)
- Install the wires that are necessary for the installation of 7E0 BCM. (According to instructions viewtopic.php?f=56&t=73828&start=30#p562939)
- Install 7E0 BCM.
- Install GT MFSW.
* Keep in mind the instructions in the slip ring window to avoid problems with the inner cable. https://servimg.com/view/18943939/870
- Matching the remote controls.
- Code the GT MFSW: Coding A4FFFF

BCM Adaptation
Channel 001: Remote Control Matching

1st Remote control
Start Matching new/additional Remote Controls by entering 0 for the New Value, then [Test] and [Save] the New Value.
Press and hold the Unlock button for at least one second on the Remote Control you want to add, the Blinkers will light up to confirm the Adaptation Process of each Remote Control.

2nd Remote control
Start Matching new/additional Remote Controls by entering 0 for the New Value, then [Test] and [Save] the New Value.
Press and hold the Unlock button for at least one second on the Remote Control you want to add, the Blinkers will light up to confirm the Adaptation Process of each Remote Control.

Please, report the results or incidents to solve them.

Thank you for the Fernando! I have I can find someone to do it. The guy I had found has gone silent since Friday. I'm getting very frustrated as he's impossible to get hold of and takes forever to reply! Not the best way to run a business if you ignore all the different ways that potential customers have contacted you by!

I had only had my car a few weeks when one morning I went to leave for work to find a note on my doormat from a neighbour saying that he had reversed out of my drive into the front of my car! It wouldn't have happened if I could have parked in my usual spot outside my place, but i was unable to because that neighbours wife had parked in my spot!

Also as the wing had got pushed out of shape, every time I opened the door part of the front edge rubbed against the the wing edge which didn't sound nice!

I'm glad to know that there are still 'normal people' in this world who leave a note on the windshield (or doormat) in case of hitting another car. You are lucky to have such a good neighbor.👍

Logically, when we see that our 'beloved car' has been damaged, we get angry at what happened. IMHO, deserves to be reasonable, and not to get too angry because life runs too fast to waste time getting angry at this type of incident that others cause on our lives.
There are countless occasions/circumstances in which the one who causes the incident is not even aware of why it happened.

It has a solution? Yes, then perfect. Is it annoying to fix it? Yes, but it is normal in our daily lives, no problem!
Your trusted workshop will fix it easily (wing and the possible damage in the door edge). Not having been affected mechanical parts everything will be as before. :)

It's part of the game, hopefully one day the car body is made with interchangeable silicone rubber surfaces.
In such conditions, it's likely that more than one of those who currently hitting with door edge to other cars (B-type humans*) would bounce off and be ejected outside the Earth's orbit, ... some would even reach the moon.

70% of my neighbors have the edges of the doors terribly damaged, so it is too high a percentage for them to be guilty of something.

Check the door edge of your car to know if you are A or B.

Right! I have 2 years of updates to do here! Hopefully I am able to ad photos now, which was stopped me doing new posts couple of years back!

Back at end of November 2019 my Weathertech moulded floor mats arrived from Italy. Not cheap, but I think look very nice

Hi Aquavalver, :D

They certainly look good, seem ideal and very hygienic for adverse weather conditions.
People would have to see the inhabitants on textile mats with a microscope to be aware of all the fauna that one transports everywhere. With the air conditioning/ventilation system and the passage of time you will acquire immunity to all that fauna.

(especially pet lovers, or animal tyrants🤭)

I only have carpet ones for shows, as I've found that they just don't stay looking nice for very long and are harder to clean when they get dirty. I like the VW rubber ones, but have found since the ones I used to have in my old mk2 Golf, they seem to make them in a softer rubber and you can clearly see wear after a few months! Sadly you can't buy the drivers side one on its own which of course is really, the only one that gets worn!

Hi Aquavalver, I recently received a email from you, it has been a long time since we last talked about possible modifications to your Blue GT.

I understand that making the electrical installations may seem complex to you, but I can assure you that in your case and in relation to the articles/items that I sent you it's extraordinarily easy.

Please comment what you want or need in this thread regarding the items you bought from me long ago, my tech support to install those items is totally free for you, you don't need to spend any of your money anywhere else or workshop.

My circumstances have changed, so I can only give you technical support for the items you purchased from me, not for other modifications that you want to make in your BlueGT, ...although in the forum there is information for all of them.
