DSG recall 2008 to 2015?

Seems to be some confusion about this, other make forums are saying it only Australian cars as indicated in the article although difficult to see why the their DSG would be different from Europe.

Not a chance VW will do that here. They extended Warranties for similar cars in the US and China and it seems now they’re doing so in Australia, heck they don’t even acknowledge dieselgate in the U.K. (no compensation or buy back in this Country) so this has zero chance. My Mother loves the brand so while she owns her 6C, I will renew the VW Warranty as I know one day the DSG will go !BANG! and the cost of her Warranty (£180) is insignificant compared to the eye watering costs when things will go wrong...
