6C GTI. Anyone had this issue - both front tyres and if so what was the cause and or solution? Will get the alignment checked in the next few days but first thoughts are possibly camber angle problem?
Thanks

Re: Front tyre wear on the inside edge
I have 6C Cross Polo. I have tyre wear on the outside edge. The cross has a 15mm lift over the stock suspension, the GTi I think is 10mm drop over standard. The camber is not adjustable as one would expect. I believe it's the suspension ride height difference that's altering the camber. Camber is adjustable by shifting the subframe, but that doesn't compensate for the ride height affecting camber.
I was thinking of getting the Powerflex bushes to correct this:

That's what I've learnt in the few months I've owned this car.

Re: Front tyre wear on the inside edge
Thanks for the heads up on the bushes. I would have thought that the OEM suspension geometry would have been set up to compensate for ride height but perhaps I am being a bit naïve. Manufacturers cut costs/corners all the time.
