With that diagram and with the right connector i will handle with that rear view mirror retrofitting. Only one question is left - do i have all parts that i need? So far: have the mirror and the sensor, i will have wiring soon, i order this 6C0868168A 9B9 cover cop for the headliner, will order brand new windshield for 6C polo with sensor trim. Is any sort of trims that i need more?

You do not need anything else for the installation of the interior mirror.

In case you want to make a wiring transfer from the 6-p connector to the 8-p connector you must take into account that the contact terminals are not equal and the wires cannot be transferred. No problem! I will give you the contact terminals you need for the 8-p connector.

I have not received a response from my usual suppliers for the terminals that I do not have.
To not wait for the response from my suppliers, and for your information, I will buy these terminals from eBay. They are the contact terminals that I need and that I currently do not have to be able to manufacture your wiring for automatic lights.

As you can see, the shipping costs are higher than the price of the terminals ... I will buy twice as many terminals to have the feeling of paying half for shipping costs...

Some small clarifications you should do.

Please explain these splices:

In wire T17/17, blue/gray.


In wire T17/15, red.


The red wire, +30, is extremely important for the new installation, that splice seen in the image must be absolutely perfect.
You must verify it, and improve it to perfection if necessary.

I attach to red wire (15) - wire from MFSW (according to this manual: viewtopic.php?t=54171), on the blue/gray wire (17) i attached wire from the Kufatec heated seats wires, according to their instruction. I solder them and after that isolate with tape.

Ok, thank you very much for the clarifications.

At the beginning of 6R production, the MFSW unit worked with a +30 signal, then/later with a +15 signal, in both cases under fuse protection.
Well, because these splices you soldered are for a very low consumption and due to that any of the parts (MFSW buttons and Heated seats buttons) can be easily changed in case of faults/damages, they will stay as you currently have them.
So far there have been no failures reported due to these splices for the buttons, ... which were made in the same way in many 6Rs, logically.

And according to diagram you provide for dimming mirror, i will try to retrofit those anti-thief sensors, and just want know connector and contact terminals numbers in order to complete this retrofit. Also today i receive this new cable set from kufatec for golf 7 dimming mirror, and i think to cut both connectors, and then to solder in the same order this new 8-pin connector to 6R rain/dimming cable set. On the 8-pin connector will cut and isolate that wire from 6th pin, and i just wondering what it is for.

The 6th pin/wire in the Golf,etc has the function of avoiding the mirror dimming in case of turning on the interior dome light.

Yes, there is no wire in slot 1.

The anti-theft alarm system consists of:
1- Anti-theft alarm sensors.
2- An external horn H12, different from the steering wheel/car horn/s.
3- Internal button/switch for monitoring off/deactivation. Used in case of leaving the pet, tigers, lions, elephants, cows, pigs, rats, kangaroos, etc / passengers, husband, wife, etc / grandparents-dinosaurs / children-aliens inside the car and you want to leave the car closed.
4- Bonnet contact switch (already installed).

If you install 1 you must install 3.
2 is not absolutely necessary.

BCM coding is necessary (at the end of this whole process).

That PDF is really useful, i get it what i have to do, but will leave this mode for later, for now will just make the wiring for sensors attached to wiring for auto dimming mirror, and about that mirror - is it possible to enable this function of avoiding the mirror dimming in case of turning on the interior dome light, when i attach wire from mirror 8 pin / 6 to interior light connector pin 2, or this diagram is just for Golf?

That diagram is only for the Golf (and some VW Group models of the same platform) because the dome lights of the Golf, etc. have a diode in the integrated circuit that the dome lights of the 6R does not have.

Take a picture of the dome lights from your Polo. There are different models of dome lights for the 6R.

It can be easily done by adding a diode in the connecting wire. I have it in my 6R and this function adds a plus to driving safety, especially when the passenger turns on the dome lights...
