struggling to figure out the wiring for my reverse camera. ive got it all wired through the car but im stuck on these final wires
i have a MIBII unit. my instructions say connect to pos and neg from dvd lines
MIBII doesnt have dvd lines??

Use T12/6 and T12/12 of the blue connector of the quadlock. I can't tell you what's the positive and negative though.

ive found this video. looks like the exact same kit ive got. do you reckon this would be the easier way to connect it

red into fuse splitter
black into ground?

Ah yes, my mistake.
Connect the black to the thick brown/white wire (GND)
Connect the red to the thick red wire.

thanks for the help. the wires are alot smaller than those wires. will it have any issues ie melting from current?

No the wires will only draw the current they need for the camera.

So I've tried that. Still doesn't work. I'm going to try the piggy back fuse connection and see if that works. No doubt I'll be back crying for guidance

update.
+ wire plugged into a constant power fuse enables to boot to be opened without keys in the ignition
need to get a connector to attach the - wire to a grounding point somewhere
halfway there kinda

coding shows the camera screen but black.
connecting blue wire to the reverse wire stops the boot from opening

FIXED
im an idiot
just needed to ground the black cable to a bolt behind the dash cover next to the drivers side door
