Polo 6R 2013 1.2 Keeps cutting out

Hi all,

We have a 2013 1.2 Polo engine code CGP. From cold when you start it up it runs for a few seconds then sounds like it struggles for fuel then cuts out. Sometimes it'll restart sometimes it won't. It cranks over vinson the starter but won't fire. It will then restart and as you try and drive away it'll just die. After about 5 mins of doing this its fine and drives fine. I have noticed that the revs can be all over the place on idle keeps dipping down. Just wondered if anyone else has had this issue. I also noticed that when you used to open the drivers door it used to run the fuel pump or what it sounded like the fuel pump. It no longer does this. Not sure if it's related. I know the best answer is to get any codes read but any quick answers would be great. It does feel like fuel starvation as it doesn't just stop it struggles a bit then dies.
