I'm looking to hard wire my dashcam in, and the only aspect of this I'm a little wary of is how to get the cable from the roof lining at the top to the door rubber via the A pillar.
I can pull the top of the plastic trim out a little nearest the door rubber, however the side near the front windscreen doesn't seem to want to bend.... certainly not enough to fit a power cable through.
Are there any tips in doing this without anything breaking, or should I be looking at removing the entire trim off?
Thanks!

Pull harder
Seriously though, you must pull quite hard to get off of.

It clips off, metal clips holding. Firstly remove the pillar from the rubber door sill than unclip it. When you unclip slide it off. Be carefull there is wire for tweeter.

+1
just close your eyes and pull as hard as possible.
Wear gloves and try to insert fingers and pull.
Even with gloves i got pinched couple of times when i was gentle with it.
It has 3 clips so top and center would get loose then you can detach A pillar tweeter cable.
Bottom part slides in between dashboard and body. So entire A pillar wont fly around with as much as force you apply.

OK... so I'm guessing I cant just pop out the top bit? The post here suggests you might be able to...?
