Guys I've googled but all old posts from what I can see
I've got a 3 door 2012 polo

What seats are a straight swap other than other 6r.
I've read audi A2 seats fit? If so what year from audi?

Audi A1 seats should fit. As you have a three door car, you’ll need seats from a three door so you can tilt and slide the front seats forward to gain access to the rear seat. Five door seats won’t have the tilt / slide mechanism. Links to a few discussion threads on this subject;

There are other discussion threads, that might be worth reading to identify any potential issues with the swap - e.g. whether there are any issues with the electrics for seat side airbags, seat heating (where fitted) etc. Therefore it’d be worth using the forum search facility (top right of page - click on the cogwheel symbol so you can do an advanced search to narrow down the search criteria).

No problem. Should have said the previous generation Audi A1. The seats from the current model Audi A1 will probably be too large to fit the 6r / 6 Polo.

What years are the previous A1 mate? Sorry to be a pain. Don't want to get the wrong ones.

The previous (first) generation A1 was built from 2010 - 2018. It was built on the same platform as the 6r / 6c Polo, which is why the seat should fit a 2012 Polo. I say ‘should fit’ because I’ve not done a seat swap. However, based on the discussion threads at the links I posted earlier in this thread, the seats from the first generation A1 should go in your model of Polo.

Again thankyou buddy. I've done interior swaps on other cars but nee to vw. Audi a1 seems to be the best upgrade option.
