Hi guys!
My steering pump has went and I've been looking around for second hand ones on eBay but the sellers are saying to double check the manufacturer number to make sure it's compatible. My mechanic has said it's located on the steering unit.
Don't know that much about cars in all honesty and it may sound like a stupid question, but was wondering if anyone could direct me to where I could find it?
Thanks in advance!
Part number?

Re: Part number?
I'd get one from TRW, I think it's basically the same one as on the Polo 9N and 9N3.
Part number is 6R0423156A

Re: Part number?
Ask your mechanic to put a rubber guard around the pump ( in front of the connectors, and also make sure that the hose for water drain does not make the pump wet.
Water ingress thru the connectors ( s**t quality) and makes the pump die.
