Front Wiper and windshield washer pump not working

Post by VW POLO »

Polo 1.0L 2015

HI, I've checket fuses ok
wiper motor ok
windshield washer pump ok

Rear wiper works

My though is the stalk multi function harm switch, wich I took it out and gave a good clean. put it back ,it still the same.
what could be causing this ?

now is giving an error in the airbag, I'm very sure it's not damaged, and I connected Properly...
I try the 3 seconds on and off when light shows...try disconnecting the negative of the battery, but still the same.

kindly appreciate any suggestions

If you removed the stalks, meaning removed the steering wheel it will pop an airbag fault.

Did you use contact cleaner to clean the stalks. Generous amount sprayed thru the openings.

Can you do the output test via your diagnostic interface? Output test the washer pump. If it works then your stalks are defective.
Try spraying the rear window, push from your self and hold.

Or live data, and push the stalk and monitor if there is change in live data. If there isn't faulty stalks!

a week ago , I couldn't find the fault, took it to VW garage , and I told them Terminal 30 was Open...
left the car in the morning 10AM , In the afternoon 2:30pm it was done all ok.
when I pick up the car they told me ,it was a fuse missplaced and another fuse was wired...
I ask them to tell me where was that fuses...they didn't tell me.
I know it was a lie , I checked all the fuses, and relays, plus the Stalk was ok too, wiper motor, and windscreen washer pump too all ok
reversing light too.

what electrict fault could cause it ?
May be a Relay?

only cost me to Diagnostic,
and its all fixed now
