I will be changing driveshafts this weekend and have been reading all I can about the torque setting of the driveshaft nuts....
I have a manual, from Easy Manuals, which appears to be VW in origin and it states 50N + 45deg.
I have also read of much higher settings and overtightening to seat the shaft and then re-torqueing to a lower value.....
Is there a definitive position on this !
any help would be much appreciated.
