2004 VOLKSWAGEN POLO SPORT 1.9TDI SILVER PD100

I've owned the car for just over 4 years. I'm genuinely sad to see this car go but a growing family means I've had to upgrade to a larger car. The plan was to give this to my girlfriend but that's been put to an abrupt ending due to the fact she's learning to drive and the insurance quotes are just far too high for our budget at present :(

Mileage: 132008
MOT Expiry: 22/08/16
Servicing: The car has full service history with receipts and stamps to prove it. The previous owner had it serviced and maintained by VW. Since owning the car it's either been maintained by VW or a VW specialist.
Timing Belt: Changed at 82999 Miles by VW (Receipt to prove)

Specification:
1.9TDI PD100 engine
Power Steering
Fog Lights
Electric Windows
Electric Mirrors
Leather Steering Wheel
Sports Seats (very comfortable)
Fog Lights
CD Changer
Height Adjustable Steering Wheel
ABS
Driver & Passenger Air Bags
Trip Computer
Height adjustable drive and passenger seats

Extras:
The car was remapped at Awesome GTI in Manchester which took the standard power of 100BHP and 177 lb/ft Torque to 135-140BHP and 220-230 lb/ft Torque.
Coilovers - Height adjustable suspension
Stainless Steel cat back exhaust system (I have the standard exhaust wich is in good condition as well which I'll include in the sale)
Powerflex Poly wishbone, rear beam and anti roll bar bushes.
Powerflex Poly Lower Engine Mount
Seat Ibiza Cupra console bushes
Genuine VW Vortex rear spoiler
Painted front bumper valance
Pressed plates with plate surrounds
Golf GTI 15" Alloy Wheels

Good Points:
VW build quality. Mechanically the car is solid. In the 4 years I've owned it it's been a joy. The VW PD engines are bullet proof and the car starts and drives as it should. It's never skipped a beat for me.
I've just had it MOT'd and Serviced including oil change, air filter, brake discs and pads all round, costing over £250. It's also just had a a new drop link fitted to the drivers side (I have a brand new spare I will include in the sale).
Full History - I've got receipts/paper work form everything that has ever been done to the car so you can see how well cared for it's been.
The car has only had one other lady owner before me.
With this being the sports model it benefits from sports seats which are very comfortable and a leather steering wheel.
All tyres have good tread.
Excellent MPG - I was getting 50+
The car is great fun to drive and has plenty of power to put a smile on your face.
2 Keys - original owners handbook/manual - spare wheel with jack etc.
Interior in great condition for the cars age with only a few minor sings of wear

Bad Points:
Every car of this age has them and I'm being as honest as possible. The car is in need of some cosmetic TLC. I had planned to do all of this but as I'm no longer giving the car to my Girlfriend I'm leaving it up to the buyer to decide what they wish to do with it (i.e. colour change, new parts etc.)
It's suffering from the dreaded VW front wing rot (I do have 2 replacement wings here to go on which just need painting and fitting, these will be included in the sale)
Couple of small rust spot bottom of drivers door and drivers rear arch.
Small scuff on rear bumper and scuff on front splitter (stupid car park kerbs)
A couple of other little age related marks and dents but nothing major.
There is a knocking on the front passenger suspension when going over bumps which sounds like the coilover struts bottoming out with the car being so low or could be a dead shock. I've tried to adjust the coilover up to see if it's bottoming out but the adjuster rings are seized. Will need a good clean and soak in WD40.
Couple of small marks on a couple of the alloys.
The air con has stopped blowing cold air. It's not been re-gassed since I bought it in 2011 so probably just needs topping up
