£1500 Polo GTi 6n2 51 Plate black 5 door Excellent condition

It is a sad day but I have decided to sell my faithful old GTi. It's still a great runner, used as my regular car up until about 2 months ago. I have upgraded to a grown up car, so here's the low down.
2nd owner, had it for 11 years, it had 21k on the clock when I got it. Full service history, regularly maintained and kept on the road, new clutch, cambelt, aircon compressor. 110390 miles and never let me down, recently had the thermostat changed. Fairly new front firestones (2K on them), rear are still good for 3 - 4K , firestones. MOT till 16 July 2018, currently SORN. Original um-modified, except for a small bass tube in the boot, has a standard 6 cd changer and everything else is standard. I have full receipt history, service book, I've kept the battery on trickle charge in the garage and given the car a good clean and polish. It looks mint but there are 1 or 2 small 'issues'. Someone nicked the front GTi badge from the grille!!, I changed the front door speakers as they old ones died but now the passenger speaker and window don't work, the lock does though. The rear window wash doesn't work, I changed the rear motor but still doesn't wash, does wipe, probably a blocked pipe. I changed the front bulbs, all of them and now the drivers dipped beam doesn't always turn on first time but works 2nd time, the car is 17 years old and I think that's it, a few war wounds from car parks on the bodywork but nothing major and no signs of rust. A great, solid, reliable, little car which I'd love to keep but the missus says no....£1500 a bargain
