My 6N, Dutch style of course

Post by JarnoVWPolo6N »

Hi everybody!

I don't know if this is the right place for this topic, so sorry if it's the wrong place.

But my name is Jarno, and I'm from Holland, and member of the VW Polo Club Holland cause I drive a 6N

Here's my baby when I bought her:

And this is the way she looked at the last meeting of the Polo Club Holland:

So far I've done the following stuff:

Exterieur:
RS2 front bumper
Lumma sideskirts
S3 look rearbumper
Lexus look taillights
Rieger rearspoiler
Bonnet thingy (will be getting a welded metal one in the near future)
15" MVK2 rims
and I lowered it about 6,5cm front and 6 rear with a FK coilover kit
And I plan to 'clean' my reartrunkcover (don't know the english word for it, sorry  )

Interieur:
not so much action goin' on here for now, but it is on my planning list

ICE:

Image

-JBL GTO755.6 6chanal amp
-Soundlab 2 chanal amp (is installed behind the board on whicht the JBL amp is mounted)
-4 JBL LC-S963 9"x6" speakers in rear
-JBL GTO-C6506 composet in front
-2 condensators/powercaps
-and of course 2 JBL GT4-10" woofers

My engineroom looks like this at this moment:

Just a K&N 57i induction kit so far, a FK exhausmanifold is planned, only the money is a bit of a problem at this moment in time.
The reservoirs for coolantfluid and the fluid for washing your frontwindow wil be sprayed in the colour of the car (like the engine cover)
And some stuff will get polished of course, together with a front strut bar (if this is the correct word for it in english) it will bling up my engineroom.

I'll try to keep you all up-to-date about my 'progress' and projects on my Polo!

Thnx everybody for the positive replys!

@ Christian6N: no, I haven't been to Lingen, but I saw the pictures, looked like a really great meeting. But I'm reeally busy with school, so that's why I couldn't come, to little time, so many things I want to do.......

Hopefully I can make it next year!

Carb? Is an injection, Bosch MOno-Motronic. But there isn't a warm air intake anymore.
But lookin' back, I'd really recommand the K&N 57i induction filters, easy to install, easy to clean, good price-quality for your money, and a great sound!
After 3000RPM, just put the padle to the floor, and enjoy the rooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrhhhhh!

TIP: put down your windows, find a nice tunnle, and enter it at around 3000RPM, then hit the gas when your inside the tunnel, and enjoy.............
