And finalyy installed my new airfilter, just need an extra felxible tube to go from the inlet of the filter to the grill to create a ram-air effect, then it will only 'suck' air from outside the bonnet, which won't be as hot as the air from under the bonnet:

Image

Your inlet manifold in this pic, is that a metal one?

ALSO

What suspension are you using? Cause im using coilovers and the same alloys, but have to have spacers otherwise i get rubbing on the coils. Did you have any problems with rubbing before hand?

and ALSO

Are these the same suspension bushes you have?

The 3rd pic down.

F8cking hell m8, did you have to go on and ask me stuff in 4 different replies?

Well, it looks like you already read my topic, so probably you already read the answers to your questions too

But to help you out:
-yes, I'm planning to come over to E38 for the entire weekend this year
-yes, that's a metall inlet manifold, all single-point injection engines on mk4's have a metall inlet manifold, and NO, is does NOT fit an multi-point injection engine
-I drive around on airride, so no coils or spring+shock or just springs, fully adjustable airride
-yes, I've used Bonrath polyurethan bearings/bushes all around

No hard feelings m8, was just overwhelmed by the 4 replies

To get your mk4 fully poly-bushed you'll need the following:
Artikel-Nr.: 076872 (rear top-mounts on the shocks)
Artikel-Nr.: 077749 (wishbones + rear-axle)
Artikel-Nr.: 076797 (front top-mounts on the shocks)
Artikel-Nr.: 076889 (front ARB between the wishbones)

And feel free to aks me, but please try to do so in either 1 reply or in a PM

We had our event of the VW Polo Club Holland this sunday, so had to be there with the mk4 instead of the mk2  first show this season the mk4 went out to

Looked like this, got hold of a set of polished Zender Turbo Phase II's, 15x7 ET12 with Continental 165-45-15's

And my painter just rang me up, my RS 001's centre's + innerlips were done and ready!

Cheers people! Had a huge amount of positive remarks after last sunday´s show, really gives me a boost again to keep going and try to raise the level further up. :D

Zender Turbo´s are up for sale, were just for last sunday´s show as I couldn´t finish the RS´es in time  hopefully get them together and te tires on them on saturday!

Then a fool I am!
The Zender Turbo's went off on Thursday, and were sold that evening, and on saturday me and the bi-turbo'd mk4 owner Jeroen Leenders put back together my RS001's, plus got it roadready.

front tire:

rear tire:

and the endresult:

and on sunday (yesterday) just had to hit the first show with the new wheels (VW Fanatics):

which turned out to be a good move, won the 3rd Price Polo 6N(2) :D
Image

REally happy with how it looks now, good stretch on both tires, 7,5J up front on 165-50-15 Brigdestone Potenza, 8J in the back on 185-45-15 Nankang NS-II, with polished lips, stainless bolts & nuts, and the centres painted in BBS Gold, with a matt clear coat on top, brand new hexigonials in the centre's with chrome emblems.

Haha, cheers Tim! That last bit is what I've been hearing all day long yesterday  the show with the Zender's on, I already told people they were being swapped for some BBS-set, everybody said I was a fool. But yesterday everybody restated their opinion, telling me I've made the right decision
