i m gettin 17's for my mk4 but not sure which ones to get, i like kahn RS-R
and dare v4 wheels, which ones do u think will suit the car better?

I'd stay well clear of 17" wheels. They'll make the handling much worse, as well as acceleration, etc. If you want big wheels, stick to 16's with the right size tyre, then slam it. No substitute.

everyone seems to be anti-17s on here but i love mine,its lowered 50mm on em with 205/40/17 falkens and rubs a tiny amount on bulkhead/inner arch but thats rare,i suppose its down to personal choice and taste really,,wouldnt swap mine though and the handling is outstanding,,it REALLY sticks to the road,

I'd agree with Rich - 17/18s make the high speed (40mph+) much more planted and only first gear acceleration suffers noticabley

ive been lookin at tradin my razors for 17'' kahn RS-R,they are at the re-furb shop and hes painted em all black apart from the flat face area which has been polished,,they are gorgeous,ill see what happens. ps go for the kahns imo

I don't think they are anti 17's - just that the best compromise and least hassle is 15's or 16's

Plus your speedo is 7% out on those tyres

like the idea of having 17's but dont like the tyre costs and high chance of rubbing :S

Got to go low so keep away from 17". Get some 14" and slam the t**s off it.

i like the look of rs4 alloys but dunno about goin for 17's. do they do em in 16"?

depend what type of look your going for, they are a bit jap style so dont really know it they will suit the polo
