I think you could put "possibly rear ended" not "car has been re-ended" as it sounds rather definte. Mine doesnt have a sticker either, I hope it wasnt in a crash, I did check it on that car crash checking site (forgot the link) and bought from a garage (hpi) etc.

i have rust around both of the back passenger and drivers windows! also bottom of both doors. :(

My passenger electric window also played up, but it was leaned on while hitting a big bump, didnt help at all. but have the parts now to get i fixed thanks to Dan Doug and there Dad. Bless them!! and now the drivers window is rattling!!

Ive been finding that the engine cuts out while im just cruising down the road, not doing anything! real pain but hasn't happened alot recently but did happen 5 times in one week.

other than that i love my POLO! :D

Firstly welcome to the forum Poloboy. But secondly you may want the post this as a new topic in the MKIV section as if the rest are anything like me then they hardly ever check this thread. With regards to lowering there are plenty of topics but I think the general feeling is 40-60mm but if your going to -60mm then your going to need lower profile tyres eg 45.

This is awesome, was just about to ask about buying a new mk4.
Used to have one, and had the problem with the speedo and some savage battery problems
aswell as a fire under the bonnet haha.

Thanks (Y)

Wish I had seen this prior to buying my MK4. No handbrake, clutch pedal sloppy, oil filthy etc etc etc but then I only paid £150 for her with MOT and 15" rims. She is good generally but needs some TLC. I will post b4 and after pictures once I have time
