AFH Wiring diagram

Post by CiderPolo »

Hey Everyone
Hope lockdown is treating you as well as can be expected.

Does anyone have an AFH wiring diagram or even just the ABS system loom wiring? - I need it to test the wheel speed sensors - seems nigh on impossible to locate on the interweb.

I would be eternally grateful and even send cider to the nice person who gives me a clue or two!

Cheers

Hi All

So I found an amazingly useful website, no fees, no credit cards etc.
Polo wiring diagrams:
https://cardiagn.com/vw-polo-1995-2002- ... al-system/

and the index (loads of great information)
https://cardiagn.com/volkswagen-polo-19 ... -diagrams/

Hope that helps for you future wiring diagram hunters!

@alexperkins I tried to send you a message about ABS unit repairs, but the message is stuck in the outbox and I don't see anyway of moving it to the sent folder. I've submitted it, and that's all I can do...
Any ideas?

Cheers All
Ciderpolo.

line route varies between the early & later models, the early ones with the petrol & water temp in the bottom left & right of the speedo, the line goes from the 16 pin to a commoning strip on the fusebox then into the immobilliser box and out on to the ECU, the later gauges in the top centre, the line goes from the 16 pin and just joins together with all the other K lines in a soldered joint then into the immobiliser box and out on to the ECU
