Hi ive bought a radio wired it up matching all wires but when i turn it off it says bye but still stays illuminated so i have to keep unplugging it if i dont like the other week it flattens my battery anyone know anything please

Have you wired the ignition and permanent feeds around the correct way?

Also where did you take the illuminate feed from

Your asking me now m8 i just wired all colours matching from stereo to wires on plug

Can you post some pics up of the looks behind the radio? Is it forgetting it’s settings when it’s turned off?

That doesnt look too good mate. Why are the orange and pink wires not connected to anything?

Silly question, but why have all those wires been cut?

You might be wise to ask the seller for a replacement harness. You shouldnt need to cut any wires.

Not sure i did get a full refund off him and kept the stereo just wish it would turn off the wires not connected as there isnt none thst colour to match i know nothing m8 i just wired it up lol

Try swapping the red and yellow wires over - ie connect yellow to red, and red to yellow.

Trued what u said now the radio only comes on when the key is in and theres no clock showing when off where as before it wouldnt switch off and the clock stayed on so hoping this has done it il know later when i finish work if my battery dead
