I wouldn't have thought this would fit at first but looking at some pics of the bay it looks as if the slam panel on the 6r tdi is the same as the 9n3 gti/tdi. The trumpet would probably fit but the question is has the airbox inlet hole changed significantly between models? Someone with ETKA might be able to confirm, or if you post some detailed pics of your intake pipe you can compare it to a pd160 one of which there are many pics online.

Sorry hartge didn't mean to clutter your thread :D GLWS

I'll try and have a look this weekend. Have the latest version of ETKA but it's not installed on my laptop (yet).

Can't say for definite, but it might fit.

The only difference in part numbers for the pipe and the trim that attaches to the slam panel is 6q0 (9n) vs 6r0. The rest is the same bar the suffix.

I know for a fact this is similar with the wheel bearing housings on the 6r / 9n3 GTI and PD130 Polo/ Fabia / Ibiza if you want to do a big brake upgrade, and the 6r0 and 6q0 parts are interchangeable in that instance. That could be exception as opposed to a rule though.

The only way to tell for sure with the PD160 intake is to do a trial fit.
