I just changed to a MK5 Golf GTI, it has its plus points over the Polo but I still miss the Polo sometimes. Also got to say it doesn't matter how much power your next car has after a couple of weeks it feels slow ! Theres been a few times recently I have been tanking down a back road thinking could do with a bit more power as its doesn't feel quick any more.
I tried the last generation S3s and TBH the Golf GTI is just as fast and handles a whole lot better, only advantage the S3 has is off the line with its 4wd even then the Golf can get its power down very well I suspect a drag race would be very close. Sure the new S3 coming out will be a lot better though.

Slightly newer Polo, but TDi!
My mileage is increasing, so it makes sense. Have no need for any more room, so staying along the same lines
I've had a Fabia vRS but have decided not to put so much money into cars. Great package though, I'd have one again. They're group 9 insurance to answer the post above. For some bizarre reason, I seem to recall the equivalent Ibiza being Group 8. Made no sense to me. Didn't like the ride or the interior of the Seat, so went with the Skoda.

amen to that!! lolpsycho sport wrote:I want to get an S14 200sx. Always loved them and soo easy to tune. 300bhp rear wheel drive... that would be nice!
Plus the benefit of the cream leather interior!
Want to keep the polo though as my run around car.
if i wasnt so fond of the VAG cars build quality etc i'd look for one of those!
Plan is to shift the GTi over the winter and get a corrado VR6 and 'charge it next year! i nearly bought a corrado G60 before the polo so i'm def. gonna get one this time...
**this is of course assuming i can afford the damn thing! lol
