Cambelt question

Post by ModifiedMadness »

When the cambelt is changed, does anybody know if the bumper has to come off?

I'm thinking that I might as well get them to fit some new sidelights for me when it's serviced, I'm going for LED jobbies after seeing Dinos 8)

Not overly sure on which bulb you use :?

Dino might be good to ask, or mk4 glx 1.6

Alun, I think he put the LED's in because they match the Xenons better.

If HE, refers to me? then no, I had the philips blue vision sidelights bulbs in already, but then replaced them with metal cased wide angle white LED's, as per this picture:

Just a word of warning with regard to choosing LED sidelights, the majority are made of plastic, and due to that nature, they are at very high risk of failure due to heat from other headlight bulbs.

I noticed the standard sidelights look a little out of place with the blue Xenon's. LED's or Bluevisions are a major improvement

Just get a undercar neons kit and your SORTED!
