after

I will be sending the centres away to get them painted nxt week, I was thinking standard silver colour maybe :?: & I need some centre caps for the wheels, toying between bbs or vw

Bought a couple of bits and pieces; 2m of red grill trim (thanks verity for sorting me out the contact :P ) & the carbon inserts for rear badge off greg, as my rear badge is fading away (thanks gregperkins :D.)

I will add pics when all installed & cleaned.

Yep I agree the silver does look good, but black centres on a black car also look good, especially with a polished rim. I've also seen them gun mental grey which I like the look of..

Right, Got the carbon inserts from gregperkins installed, looks good, well looks a lot better than weathered grey plastic. Thanks Greg great little mod :D .

Also got the quality (german made  ) red trim on, Makes the front end look totally different & a nice change.

Next up finish 16'' rx2's & I need to sort the front headlights out, they're starting to get a crispy surface on them in places, anyone recommend a product for cleaning up headlights :?: I saw it on someones thread.

Also i noticed on the above pic my tax disc holder has gone gold/bronze on the front! I'm sure it was black when i bought it, sticks out like a sore thumb, It's still black on the back.

One of my wheels is up at my mates who's going to get the 2 bolts out where I knacked the head (He has an engineering workshop) but it's been there a while!. As soon as I recieve the wheel from him I will be able to get them all sorted within a couple of days & i'm decided for silver for the centres. - Are your bbs' 16'' Greg? I'm off to music festival next weekend though, so will be after that now.

The carbon inserts are genuine vag super dooper great value, mint quality, well packaged & quickly posted, with great instructions even a chimp could follow Thanks Greg, I can't sell them more than that

A little sad cheap mod today lol pic below

Badge was all fooked up on my master key, so got a cheapy gti one off enbay.

Yes, both of mine were nackered, but i only bought one as my spare key doesn't work, I've had it repaired, but can't pair it with the car after several attempts, so if I ever get it working I will get it a new sticker, maybe something different.

Anyone had any joy pairing a key to their car?

Wheels look great dude. My new red grill is turning pinky already! Think im going to spray it or something.

I also really like the badge on the key, do you have a link to where you got it from?

Chris.
