Afternoon guys,
Anyone can advise me shortly the exhaust layout of a 6N2 GTI? Does it have 1 or 2 cats and anyone some advise regarding a de-cat? Really looking to upgrade the exhaust but not really a good image of current situation.
How about the lambda's?
Thanks
cheers marvin

Re: Exhaust layout
1 cats, 2 lambdas (one pre cat, one post cat)
Decat is pretty straight forward, but the lambdas will get very upset without a remap.

Re: Exhaust layout
Good afternoon alex,
Litte late follow on this thread, but many thanks for your reply.
Don't the GTI's have a sort of "Pre-cat" right after where the exhaust manifold "pipes" come together?
Cheers marvin

Re: Exhaust layout
The GTI doesn’t have that. Some of the 6N2s do (the 100bhp does) but not the GTI model
