Good afternoon chaps
Hope you're doing well over in UK.
Here in Holland it's freezy and cold. Neh.
Had a laugh yesterday with my 6N2 gti. Found there are flocks and bits of foam coming out of the air vents, both on the dash and under the seats.
It's quite some amounts with smaller and slightly larger flocks/bits
Anyone knows where to start looking, where can it possibly come from?
Thanks!
Gr Marvin

Have a look at the cabin filter. Under the bonnet on the right hand side, near the bulkhead if I recall correctly.

Re: Foam material coming out of air vents
Hi Mate, good afternoon,
Thanks for your reply. finally found the time to look.
There were a lot of leaves around the cabin filter, however nothing that looks like the foamy material.
A dug into google found it might be coming from the air flaps inside the heater housing, so i.e. when changing from cold outside air to warm air or changing from exterial ventilation to internal.
Anybody an idea what steps to follow, to at least have a view on these flaps?
Thanks!
Cheers marvin
