Alarm fun

Post by Sixtoes »

I only have the buttonless key for my GTI, apparently the remote one was left in a taxi (if anyone knows where I could pick up a replacement that'd be great). I unlock the car and open the door, I then have about 3 seconds to turn on the car before the alarm goes off. Any ideas?

Hickleys sell replacements. You would need to get the blank cut and the transponder programmed though so I’d maybe speak to a local auto-locksmith as they’ll likely be cheaper. Else your local VW dealer can do it

You wouldn't happen to know which key on hickleys was the original that came with the gti?
