Heated seat looms

Post by mikey_al »

Hi guys,

I’m new to the forum and Polo ownership (although I’ve had a handful of Mk4 Golfs). This is my second query of the day....

I’m fitting some heated leather from a donor into my 6N2 Gti that has basic cloth seats. Has anyone transferred heated seat looms before or know how complicated it’s likely to be. I’ve not had a look yet but I’d assume this loom isn’t pre-wired on all models

The loom is reasonably easy to remove as it’s a separate add on loom

You’ll need to remove it in its entirety and transfer it over

Does it have its own power supply/own fuse or does it tap off another system?

Thanks again mate.

It’s on it’s own fuse. The route is fuse box to the switches in the dash then all from there onto the seats
