LED on the turn signal, that video is the 50/50 to see the difference. Now the only LED lights missing is the reverse and fog, but the fog is already an aftermarket whiter bulb.

This led have the same power consumption, so no need to change anything on the car.
I got the same that I was told to by other user but at ebay (they got a bit more expensive since I bought them):

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
Made enquiries to get rid of my 2018 GTI+ today.
We are going to need 1 big car in the household soon, so one of our 2 has to go. The other is here to stay.
If anyone is interested in it then pm me, there's an ad in the classified section here.
Our eldest kid sits behind me as her child seat is less bulky, she doesn't have a lot of legroom as I have my seat 1 notch from the back. We're getting a Labrador soon too.
Been offered £15500 by a specialist cars buyer I have used before, Audi garage wanted to offer £14k.
Looking to buy an Audi A4 Avant 190ps TDI, nearly new for 2/3 of list price. It'll be the first time in a long time I'll not have bought new.

Shame one has to go mate. The Audi A4 looks really nice though!
If you happen to get rid of your paddle extensions, I'll take them off your hands.

Can I also ask what size your cargo net is on your boot floor?

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
Well the deal is done. Didn't think it would be so quick. A competitively priced one at my local garage after comparing with what was available nationally. Sales guy was pushing for Thursday morning collection, I pushed him back to Friday evening. Need to get my paddles off (I think they'll be going on the new car, but if they don't, I'll give you a shout) and get my dashcam stripped out.
Feel like an old man going from something sporty and fun to something big and comfortable!
It's an A4 Avant "40" 190ps 2.0TDI S-line Quattro, 11.5 months old, 10400 miles on the clock. Shockingly the RRP is £41.3k - the initial depreciation hit is huge on these cars if you buy privately, even with a big discount. It levels out shortly after the difference between what i'm getting and a year older or 2 years older is consistently about £3k a year extra, so from a year old, the depreciation is on par with the Polo.
The car was up for £25789, had to haggle hard to get them down to £25200 and match my £15500 offer for the Polo - different ball game haggling on a used one.
Biggest downside is car tax - it attracts the enhanced "luxury" penalty VED - £470 a year.
Here's the video the salesman sent after trying to evoke panic buying this morning (made out the car was under offer and reserved for 90 mins). Waited until 4pm and drove there unannounced.

We're still waiting for the wife's GTI+ to turn up. I'm guessing access to the lights is via the inside of boot?PhilArnold wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 5:54 pmThey look great, easy to change?Dazeredo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 7:38 pm This led have the same power consumption, so no need to change anything on the car.

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
Went to first oil change to VW .... What was I thinking? I spend 3 hours there, just to ger back my car with one of the mounting point scraped deep into metal. FFS what animals works there? So they wrote it down and will call me back tommorow. Very disappointed I had that car 4 times in air on two differend lifts without any problem then VW just fck my anticorrosion layer -_- and they didn't said anything I had to find it by my self while I was inspecting my car. Every single time I visit dealer I always leave angry as ****

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
That’s so annoying when something like that happens. I had the anti corrosion layer around the lifting points on the sills damaged by the dealer on a previous car, so I now take photos of my car - especially the parts that the dealer may damage when it goes back to the dealer for any work. I take the photos in the customer car park on arrival at the dealers so they can see it in their car park and undamaged when I arrived. I also do a walk-round with the service advisor and get them to confirm it’s totally unmarked and undamaged.Dark_cze wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 8:12 pm Went to first oil change to VW .... It shouldn’t really be necessary to have to do that. I take care of my car and expect the dealer to do the same.

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
The fact that us, the customer, have to take photos and prepare our cars for the main dealers and to insure ourselves against their bs is terrible. Maybe they should do some more vigorous training and take more care with others property. My previous car went in for repair work at VW and they destroyed the gearbox in the meantime, then tried to blame me and wouldn't show me videos of any damage so I went down in person. While walking past the repair bays I see a tech drive someone elses car into a wall head on because his foot slipped off the clutch pulling it into a repair bay. Always fun dealing with the technicians.

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
There’s been a number instances over the years discussed on various VAG forums of customers cars sustaining damage while at the dealers; scuffed and scraped alloys, scratched and dented bodywork, scratched interior trim. Invariably, the dealer will deny the damage happened while the car was in their care, which is the reason I now take photos so I’ve got evidence to show them if it happens to my car . But I agree, it shouldn’t be necessary to have to do this.stuartrendall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 9:34 pm The fact that us, the customer, have to take photos and prepare our cars for the main dealers and to insure ourselves against their bs is terrible. Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
That is absolutly nuts. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Next time I will not bother to buy car. I will just borrow it for two years (not sure how it is called in english). VW service is really taking away all that joy of owning (my first) new car.SRGTD wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 9:53 pm There’s been a number instances over the years discussed on various VAG forums of customers cars sustaining damage while at the dealers; scuffed and scraped alloys, scratched and dented bodywork, scratched interior trim. The cargo net I got it from ebay, I don't sure the size but it's really elastic. I think that is 100x50cm.PhilArnold wrote:They look great, easy to change?Dazeredo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 7:38 pm This led have the same power consumption, so no need to change anything on the car.

The light is easy to access but hard to unscrew. A cloth is mandatory to get started and to screw properly at the end.
