Received an email informing me my GTI is still not fixed. Been in the garage since 25th October.

Keys being handed back as a reject, compensation being sought and complaint being escalated even further if the car is not back with me by the end of this week. Utterly atrocious service.

Today, I fitted new headlight bulbs from Halfords advanced range, apparently 100% brighter, I’m not sure I would go that far but they are better.
Also fitted dash cameras front and rear, hard wired into fuse box.

Finally RCP Exhausts Turbo-Back is in

Besides that ECU and TCU remap so now it produces 270 HP and 475 Nm

Just looked at that "youtube" clip. Boy would that exhaust be tiring on a motorway either open or closed, the standard GTi exhaust was a better sound. The police have ANPR type vans out now that can detect loud exhausts and you could be fined.

No problem with that, with closed valve inside the car is basically the same as with stock exhaust thats the purpose of modifying exhaust, to be louder

I'd have been intrigued to see what gloss black looks like, but that just looks like a muddy mauve/brown. Maybe the pics don't do it justice but it's a thumbs down from me. Good effort around thebadging. I wish I could be bothered to spend that much time washing the 2 filthy Polos sat outside.

Just for the looks. I wrap cars on the side and thought I'd see what it looks like, it looks a lot better in person and it doesn't help that the picture is edited
