Picked the A4 up today. Wow - it is huge inside and out. Despite being the S-line on lowered springs and 19" wheels, the ride is softer than the Polo. I had been worried that it would be too harsh for the girls in the back - my mate's A3 S-line on 18" wheels was brutal as a rear passenger.

Power delivery is completely different - huge initial shove but less on the higher end.

On the way to the dealership, I gave the Polo a good workout to see what I'd be missing, and to deliver the car on vapours!

I suppose I'll have variety now, on the rare occasion I get to drive the Polo. The wife loves the A4 as a passenger but says its too big for her to drive.

Looks same fitment for flappy paddles, so I'll be fitting mine from the Polo onto the A4.

New car looks mint, need to get yourself a flat bottom wheel from an RS4 / 5 - very chunky. Quattro will come in handy in the winter though, good choice, congrats.... MJ

Looks good! I love the Avant Style, they don’t sell them here anymore in South Africa!
SUVs have taken over, all though the Avant has more space then some SUVs!

Yeah, didn't fancy an SUV with the van-like driving position.

Did you take a big knock on the GTI trade in?

2019 Polo GTI i was offered ridiculous trade in values.
I will keep mine longer.

Nope, it was around what I expected. Bought it for about £21800 (after £2800 discount), p/xed for £15000. That was a fairish price.

Definitely something I'd like to do. Where did you get these and are they an easy install?

Thanks
Matt

They’re Not original vw part, I got them for just under £20 however the price of shipping went up from £7 to £10.14 not sure why, the struts before shipping price is £11.56 they took about 2 months to arrive lol. I don’t know if you heard of an online shop called www.diversionautomotive.com , they do aftermarket parts for Mostly VWAG cars & a few other makes, the exact same strut kit is on there for £39.99
