I ordered a Polo SEL Back Last year, I am currently Driving my Polo SEL took delivery of it 1st March This year:
I believe I was the first person to order one and definitely the first to receive one,
POLO SEL 1.0 TSI 115 Manual, White Silver Metallic, 17" Pamplona Dark Adamantium Wheels, Name badge deletion, Pan Roof, Driver Profile Selection, Rear View Camera, LED Headlamps.
I put this car through Car Wow, and got the car for £17350 including a further £500 off from VW.

Re: Ordered New Polo SEL
Congratulations on your new car Fudgedog09. How are you enjoying it after nearly two and a half months ownership, and are you planning on posting up any pictures on the forum so we can see what what White Silver with a pano roof and dark Adamantum wheels looks like?

Re: Ordered New Polo SEL
Update
(SEL 115 dsg ordered 7 Feb)
email from vw saying I now have a build week of 3/9/2018. Assuming the normal 6 weeks after, I'll get it mid October - total wait will
be over 8 months.
Well, it's nice to know that something is happening...

Hi Paul_Barnett, in your "assuming the normal 6 weeks after" are you allowing for the shipping time?

Re: Ordered New Polo SEL
My car left Port Elizabeth 27/3 spent about 7/10 in Emden (quality checks!) spent 10 days in UK port, picked up 26/5 so 9 weeks total, hopefully yours may be quicker but 6 weeks may be optimistic, saying that once its yours you soon forget the long wait. Good Luck.

Re: Ordered New Polo SEL
Update
my polo has gone straight from 'build week of 3/9/2018' to
"Your car has been built and has now left the factory. On average it takes 4 weeks from build for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer."
of course, no mention of possible wltp delays...
