Been told by dealer my car is at Tyne and has a transportation order against it in his system.
Anyone know how long cars tend to be at Tyne for and does the transportation order actually indicate anything meaningful, such as being high up in the queue to get on a transporter?
Cheers
What's the supplying dealership? Tyne and Wear Lookers and Pulman branches get delivered very quick. Never waited more than a week to pick up Pulman or Benfield (now Lookers) sourced VW from it hitting Tyne dock (had 6 new VWs from these branches over the years)
Thanks for replying! It’s specialist Cars VW in Dunfermline so a bit further afield but still hoping for a quick turnaround.
In my case I got a text update two weeks ago that my car was in Emden, tracker never changed from in transit.
Spoke to dealer on Thursday and car was said to be on the water to the uk.
Tracker still says in transit and no text update to say it's in the UK

Pretty much the same here.
I'd like to think that both of our cars are in the UK but the tracker hasn't updated. Sure it only takes a day from Emden to the UK?

Maidenhead.
A little less distance for mine to travel than yours.

Arriving in Grimsby (port) then down to South Wales.
Delphinus Leader should have docked in Vigo at 3am but looks like he’s had to waste some time going round in circles, seems like he’s finally headed in.
Noticed the Glovis Sunlight is due in Emden on the 25th as well, it’s not stopping at Vigo.

Yeah Vigo looks a bit busy so she probably had to wait!
I hadn't been keeping an eye on the Sunlight as she never stopped at PE after leaving Durban but there is a chance some of us might have their car on her, my dealer hasn't given me an update to say which ship my car is on, have you been told?
