Here's my consumption so far. You'll have to excuse my km and liters, im from the mainland
Its a 2019 GTI (OPF) DSG. I almost exclusively do city driving, so mpg has taken a severe hit

Please will you share the name of the app you're using there?
I also managed to bring down the long term consumption from 8.5 to 7.7L/100KM's so no complaints from me.

Re: What MPG are owners getting in the real world?
Hi
I have a Gti+ with approx 3400 miles on the clock, and getting around 8+ miles more per gallon over my previous 7.5 Golf gti 230.
that car i sold in p/ex against Polo had covered 25000 miles in 2 years.Fuel consumption improved over the time but i was really not expecting
so much difference between the two.I have photo proof of a motorway trip of 130 miles at an average of 70mph and 47mpg!Which is almost Diesel
consumption.

I have a 2019 polo GTi with 3500 Km.
Just returned from a 70 Km highway driving at a speed of 100 Km/H.
Fuel consumption was 17 Km/L ( 48 Miles per British gallon).
Average consumption for the 3500 Km (most of them in the city) is 11 Km/L (31M/G).

Re: What MPG are owners getting in the real world?
Just recently done ~300miles in my GTI+ 19 plate going to and from Bristol and back from East London. The car now has about 2K miles on it.
Journey 1 - 135 miles, 3h:09m journey time, avg speed 43mph with average fuel consumption of 39.4mpg
Journey 2 - 169 miles, 3h:35m journey time, avg speed 47mph with average fuel consumption of 42.2mpg
I don't normally do long journeys in my car and it is usually used for being the family taxi service in East London so usually, for those short journeys they range anywhere between 25-35MPG
