Hi all
Went to my retailer and bought a load liner for my GTI+
It looks as though they've supplied me with one that's for a non-varianle floor.
Does the GTI/GTI+ have the variable load floor due to the battery being in the boot?
Ta,
Alan

Re: GTI and GTI+ load liner
If it’s like the previous generation Polo GTI, then yes, you loose the variable boot floor function. In the 6c Polo GTI, the battery sits in the bottom of the spare wheel well with the space saver spare on top. The car’s tool kit sits to one side in a moulded polystyrene tray, which eats into the space between the lower and upper boot floor positions. So you only get the upper level.
That’ll be why on page 65 of the Polo brochure, the maximum luggage space with the back seats in place is shown as 305 litres for the Polo GTI/GTI+ and 351 litres for other Polo models. So the GTI/GTI+ looses 46 litres of luggage space compared to other Polos in the range.
