I got an email today too saying my car status had changed. Although I didn't get a build week.

Biggest p*** take though is that I ordered my car on February 3rd :(
What car have you ordered?

I've ordered a R-line 115 with active info display and 17" wheels

Looked at my order form and it says estimated delivery day May 3rd haha what a joke

I'd be looking at a '115' Polo but an SEL model, though my interest has slipped so far toward the back burner it's almost fallen down the back of the cooker. Made brief enquiry while passing VW dealer of Polo delivery and was also told 'probably May 2019'; 10 freakin' months. I remarked to the salesman that he had to be kidding, alas he wasn't....

Yea I think if I were looking now I would be looking at the Golf just because of the delivery times are a lot quicker.

I have no ideas why I have a build week before you. We are expecting a baby so having the car before he’s born is going to be really helpful. God knows how they are allocating when I ordered a long time after you.

I ordered with 17” wheels, active info, sat nav, driver profile select, winter pack and climate control. In flash red.

Fortunately I'm not super-keen for a new car right now though I appreciate the feelings of those that are: been there myself. I initially fancied a Polo as a bit of a change, but with the similarities of the new Polo 'catching up' with the Golf, features and price-wise, and the ridiculous Polo non-availibilty & long wait times scenarario V much better Golf availibility + new Golf launch next year, thinking sensibly I'd advise folk to lean towards a Golf. Though personally I think I would still quite fancy a new Polo, if that makes any sense, I'm just not in any rush....

That’s great Josh.

Bit gutted as I ordered mine a few weeks before you, similar spec too and I haven’t got a build date yet.

Might have to fire up the online chat for the first time!

Seanhendryyy wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 11:58 am I’ve got a Flash Red 115 R Line Polo but have been on the motorway a few times and when you get up to motorway speeds when in 5th/6th Gear, the car vibrates quite a bit, when you have the sun visor down you can see it shaking when at that speed.

I don’t know if anyone has experienced anything similar and if anyone has any ideas what may be causing it?
I have a DSG 115hp. I face same issue when I am on eco mode. This is happening due to the fact that the DSG has high gears with low RPM. When I change to Sport everything works ok. Not sure if this your case

I think shaking has been mentioned in forums before more than once. Incorrect tyre pressure (over inflated) and another was due to tracking out of alignment. Might be worth checking these. :)

All 4 wheels needed rebalancing on my R Line within a few days. At Motorway speed they whole car was shuddering at around 70 ish mph.
After being rebalanced drives like a dream.
