Hoping someone knows how to set the default positions for this. Mirror dips each time I engage reverse but doesn't return to the original position when I drive forwards again. It only moves part of the way up and I have to manually adjust each time. Is it possible to set a default position for it to return to?
Thanks

Thanks. The video shows how to set the lowered position when reverse is selected but I need to set the position that the mirror returns to when driving forwards again as after dipping it does not return to the original position.

On the face of it, it sounds like it is not working as VW intended it to - so normally that involves a boring time wasting visit to your local VW dealer.
Re: Kerb view on passenger side mirror
I thought it might be as I am sure it was working fine until a few weeks ago but haven't had the car long enough to be sure. I am there tomorrow so will mention it to them then
Thanks

Re: Kerb view on passenger side mirror
Have you changed keys lately? Set-up of mirror drop is key dependent - you can set it right with one key and then grab the other key, use it and find your settings aren't tethered to that key.
Re: Kerb view on passenger side mirror
I always use the same key but it's a good thought to try the other one and see how it behaves. May highlight if it is a settings issue or a fault.
