The Polo is 6cm narrower and 20cm shorter. Doesn't sound like much but it'll make a difference getting it in the garage... That and my Polo will have a reversing camera which the golf doesn't have

Guys, what were your build weeks? Mine was 4th (Polo went into production on Jan, 21st). Is it possible that it's on glovis cougar too? I was tracking this ship as soon as it left Durban for Port Elizabeth but I don't know if wasn't too soon for my Polo to get on that ship. :)

Great, same as mine. So there's a chance that my car is on Glovis Cougar too. The ship didn't report in 2,5 days, I hope that it wasn't raided by pirates or smth. ;-)

Yeah, I saw that it hasn't reported it's position in a couple of days... Hopefully that doesn't mean our cars are sat at the bottom of the sea :?

Hopefully there's a quick turn around @ Emden. 7-10 days has been quoted a couple of times on this forum. I would imagine our cars will be on different boats to hit different UK ports.

Even though we had same build weeks, mine apparently didn't get on Glovis Cougar. :( Latest status says that it got to Port Elizabeth on 02/02, so it left for Emden as soon as 10/02 on Glovis Sonic. So that adds another 2 weeks to my waiting time...

That's a shame. Based on where Glovis Sonic is now it should dock @ Emden by the end of this week.

According to my dealer my car is on a ship just outside a UK port waiting to dock so there's been a quick turn around at Emden too. He told me it should be 10-14 days till my dealership it and they'll be able to turn it around within 2 days. They clearly want to swecure the cash before the end of this financial year!

Mine updated to arrived on Wed, then today it went back to in transit then an hour later back to arrived in the UK. The tracker is rubbish!

Dealer did send my confirmation of registration over for me to sign and send back so I have the Reg and VIN.
