Ooh, you'll maybe get to be part of that ridiculous scenario where a dealer allows you to choose your plate from a completely random selection that won't mean anything anyway. :D

Center caps are in the glove box and fitted as part of PDI on all new VAG vehicles by the dealers

*makes mental note for when a centre cap gets lost.....look for pre PDI car.....

That makes sense for them to wait.

Had a missed call from VW whilst in the shops on the way back from work! Maybe good news, maybe! :roll: Have to wait til tomorrow now........... :x

Not a particularly good job done by the dealer's Valeter (even though they had a second attempt after I pointed out a few bits they'd missed).

But hey, I have my car, and the rusty hubs are now a hazy memory!!!
