Re: What would you change about your Polo?
Not a fan of ACC
I've only tried it on a Nissan but, even on the setting that made you as close as possible to the car in front, there was still too much of a gap and people were pulling into it.
Which then made the car brake to maintain the gap and the whole farce started again.
I'm not saying tailgating the car in front is preferable, but this really was a farce of people taking the mickey and the car 'letting them' do so.

Hope I don't end up longing for my previous car over the new one with all of this ACC nonsense.

The ACC (adaptive cruise control) is, as far as I know, defaulted to 'off' and you'd have to switch it on when you want it.
That's not so bad, feel free to ignore it if you don't like it.
The anti-collision front radar pish is defaulted to on though and has to be switched off if you don't like it (like me).

I think that the ACC is brilliant and wouldn't be without it now.

Bottom of the class. I meant the anti collision radar in general. My mistake.

Just tried changing my head light bulbs, after undoing the wrong torque bolts and having the bonnet fall on my head got the units out but struggling to get the bulbs and holders out of their casing, not sure if it's my Elton John fingers or if I'm doing something wrong?
Given up for the night as it's got dark but I'll try again tomorrow

Really struggling to see what you mean.JMiddo94 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 6:36 pm Just tried changing my head light bulbs, after undoing the wrong torque bolts and having the bonnet fall on my head got the units out but struggling to get the bulbs and holders out of their casing, not sure if it's my Elton John fingers or if I'm doing something wrong?

If it's dip or main beam you're changing, you just pull off the rubber covers at the back of the headlight and the bulbs are right there.
They just pull out very easily and the new ones slot back in very easily.
It should take literally seconds.
Re: What would you change about your Polo?
Got the covers off but I couldn't get the bulb and holder out, going to have another go at the weekend as I'm pushed for time at the minute.

Re: What would you change about your Polo?
It's a small thing but the steering wheel could be a little smaller, at least on the R-Line and GTI models to make them feel a bit sportier.
...and a larger fuel tank as mentioned previously.

I'm not too bothered about it myself but I showed my brother the car today and he tells me I should add navigation. Is it just a case of buying a SD card?

No it's a completely different unit, would cost a fortune to retrofit. If you have an Android or iPhone you don't need it anyway as all but the basic S model have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Re: What would you change about your Polo?
Figures. I didn't think it would be that simple!
I do have a Android Samsung and will pair it to the car tomorrow. I guess Google Maps is the go to navigation app or should I be trying something else?

Waze is the thing to use, it's scary good how it directs you around traffic.
