Highline badge

Post by AND_031 »

Hi there guys,
I am an owner of a new VW Polo Highline 1.0 TSI and I have one specific question.
Where can I buy this kind of badge/emblem (apparently fit to Polos from South America).
I would need it shipped internationally.

Thank you !

The way that VW Group normally works for is, anything that is available or fitted to any car worldwide, will be available for you to order through your local VW Group dealer's parts department - this is certainly the way it works in UK when parts are requested from VW Germany. It would help you if you look online for an up to date VW Group cars parts listing - find the part number you want and ask your local VW dealer to order it in for you.

I do know this, because, like an idiot, I accidentally ordered up track rods and track rod ends for a 2002 Polo 1.4 without power steering - in my country, UK, no 9N Polos were ever offered for sale without power steering, but I managed to get my VW dealer to buy these parts in - luckily they swopped them for the correct parts and only charged me 25% parts restocking charges, lesson learned! Also, more than a few Audi S4 owners got their UK dealers to order in "Supercharger" side badges as only supplied to Audi USA and fitted only to a relatively few Audi S4 Prestige models.

The easiest way is to find the part numbers first as by doing that you are only asking your VW dealer to supply you with what you want, as opposed to supplying the correct parts for your car, which in this case they will normally say "we can't do that because that part is not suitable for your car".

Good Luck!

I have been wondering the same as the South American version of the beats model has a beats version of this on too. Will check my local VW.

Hi once again guys,
I found this e-store that sells the Highline badge. However I am not sure they ship to Europe. If someone manages to place an order please aware me.

If it helps, the Highline RHS badge is 6EA 853 688 B the Highline LHS badge is 6EA 853 689 B, the other section of that badge RHS is 6EA 853 688 C and the LHS is 6EA 853 689 C.

Do the VW side badges like the high line one come with the foam adhesive or the other kind. I’m contemplating buying some but don’t want to damage the paint if I change my mind.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately the distributor in my country has only the TSI badges available for order. If someone has an idea how I can internationally get those badges I would be very grateful
Cheers!

I am not sure but I think that both of you might need to create a few more postings before you are allowed to PM, so start posting rubbish to this thread until you have more than 10 posts to your name.

I think that the person you are sending it to also needs at least 10 postings, I came to that conclusion when I PM'd someone that just joined this forum and created a new thread and I tried to send him correct information via PM - that PM stayed in my messaging outbox for months, so eventually, as that new member had not posted again to this forum, I deleted it.

Hello, I received your PM, but I can not answer because of the 10 posts rule. I'll post on other topics.

You could always just make postings to this thread but just make it clear that you are trying to get your post count up. That limitation of needing a minimum of 10 posts will have been put into place to avoid people being stupid and nasty, all you are trying to do is to help a member, so posting junk/rubbish is okay I'd think.
