Curious as to why you'd want wireless charging?
It means you can't use the excellent Apple/Android carplay features.

hi Andy Beats

thx for your reply
so you mean that the car with wireless charging pad under the 2 usb slots can not be use for carplay?
if i just want to charge the phone .. my friend has both usb connectors and also the wireless pad , he can use carplay when he want to by just plug it in one of the usb ports.

Using the USB carplay also charges the phone. :D
Which is why I don't understand why you'd need separate charging.
Even if you use the USB for charging only, you don't have to use carplay.
You can switch to radio etc.

Is wireless charging available right now? It was disabled/removed from spec for a host of VWs and other VAG cars early/mid last year after it had some non-compliance issue with radio/broadcasting/interference regs.

Was not aware that it was reinstated.

The OP is from Belgium and I think the non-compliance issues around radio/broadcasting interference was a UK issue.
