Front Badge Modification

Post by Nikolai001 »

Good Afternoon,

I am interested in turning my Polo Mk6's front badge black but it seems like there is a cover protecting the badge itself. Any idea on how to remove it? :)

It is the sensor for the auto braking and ACC (if fitted) covering it will cause errors and failure of those systems, breaking it open to do so will mean a few hundred quid to replace it after realising what you've done.

Well all UK spec ones have the emergency braking assist thing, I would suspect all Malta spec cars would have it as well as I think it is part part of the reason it got such a high score in the Euro Ncap due to it being standard on all models sold in Europe.
