Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto

Post by fletch555 »

Does the Polo support wireless Apple Carplay or Android Auto or is a USB cable required?

I think only the new Skoda Scala has the new VW MIB system which supports wireless AndroidAuto\Carplay, the new Golf and Leon will probably be the next to have it.

If you fancy a bit of DIY, there is a way to set up wireless Android auto with the use of an Android TV stick.
The TV stick acts as the USB connection to the head unit, and the phone connects to the stick through WiFi.

Do you have any more details...link to a guide?
