What is the usual time from placing an order to getting a confirmed build week. I ordered on the 3rd of December and my order is still "with the factory". Hope i'm just being too impatient.

I ordered the 2nd October and got my build week confirmed on the 17th. Once you have this if you email your dealer they can give you the exact week. My car was build the second week of January and is currently at the port in South Africa. A long wait for us all but will be worth it, patience isn’t my strong point!
After I ordered my GTI+ excitement took over and I started to track ship movements. But, after 10 months of waiting, the realisation of “I’ll get here when it gets here” took over and I stopped bothering! 13 months after ordering I finally took delivery Was it worth the wait, oh yes!
Morning all. Anyone else waiting for delivery update but getting ‘radio silence’ from the app? My build week was week 4 but the app still just says build week confirmed. Is this normal?

Mine was also build week 4 (Jan 20th) and I got "Your vehicle has now left the Factory" on Friday 24th.

Can I ask if you use the My VW app on iPhone to get your updates as I’ve had no update on the app since before Xmas.

Samsung phone for the app, but I get email updates as well (at the same time)

My Dealer is going to let me know when mine is on a ship, but for yours I think 3 weeks wait for a ship seems too long, I'm only guessing though. By the way I got my 5A text exactly 2 weeks after you (24th).

I've had no update on the app, and I don't expect one, I think the next app update will be 5b when the car arrives at or leaves Germany.
Was it worth the wait, oh yes!
