Hi guys,
Just noticed the passenger footwell on my 2019 polo has some exposed wiring and jarring exposed metal at the top of the footwell. Its not visible but you can feel it when you stretch your legs all the way up.
Is this normal, or is mine missing some sort of cover?

VW (and everyone else's) money saving stance is, if you can't see it from your normal seating position then it doesn't matter. Similarly, paintwork under the bonnet doesn't have a top lacquer coat.
It's not cost saving, it's weight saving.

Snap on Polo GTI. My Golf Gtd VII looks much more finished off with a drawer under passenger seat. I was also wondering if something was missing.

VW no longer fit under-seat drawers in the Golf; there’s just an empty hole where they would have been. Cost cutting...........
