Composition Color - upgrade for navigation

Hello, Polo 2018 owner here. Car has the Composition Color infotainment system: https://tinyurl.com/y3ke6rvw. Is there any option for navigation (e.g. via SD card)? If not, has anyone attempted to upgrade to other “Composition” system with Android Auto (to view Google Maps on the screen)? Any after market solution to recommend? Thanks!

There's a different unit in the glove box for Nav and non-Nav variants. You get 2 SD card slots if you have Nav and 1 if you don't.

Thanks for the tip! I have 1 SD card slot only, so I guess non-Nav variant. What other options could be available?

In the list of features for the Composition Colour infotainment unit at the link posted by the OP in the first post in this thread, it states under the ‘Comfort’ list of features that App Connect is not a supported function.

oooops ... sorry my bad I thout it is Composition Media not Color sorry. I looked briefly there might be some devices providing video input but I would wait for aftermarket android unit or upgrade to composition media.

Thanks for the replies I asked local VW dealer and told me I cannot upgrade from Composition Color to Composition Media right now. It seems a little weird not being able to do so. Any feedback is very welcome. I will also check the forum for aftermarket units, feel free to recommend as well.

Checked this one, it says it supports all MIBx systems with cd player in glove box. Also it seems quite expensive. I also found Composition Media screen / equipment from another 2018 Polo but it is not guaranteed that it will be compatible by local dealer.
