Well my short lead time didn’t happen! I was told the same as you last week from VW customer services confirmed build week 18 and no update. My dealer on opening on Monday responded to my update request and told me the car was now in build and to expect delivery in about 8 weeks. It does look like VW are getting up to speed on building delays so I would think yours will be near a build as well, hopefully.
