Ecu Features

Post by bombertdi »

Does anyone know all the features that can be modified either via vag-com or dealer ?

Some i have seen advertised.

Anti-hijack - Locks doors after 10mph / unlocks when keys removed.
Power steering - Adjust resistance.
Single door unlock - 1 press single / 2 presses all doors.

Thanks

What about the power steering function.

I find mine a bit too light.. although i do have original wheels and tyres.

Do you know what the ideal setting should be ??

Thanks

I think it can be done through the steering wheel module within VAG-COM.

Want to adjust the weighting of the steering too as its too light for my liking but I've not been brave enough to try change it and see what happens as I wouldn't know what im doing

Back to the earlier post how would you make it so that the car locks at 10mph, and then unlocks when you remove the key. I would really like this feature!!

You either have to ask your local dealer or get vag-com for Pc and adaptor.

Most places i have looked at charge approx £250 for vag-com, unless anyone knows a cheaper supplier ??

Anyone know other features that can be adjusted or activated ??

Thanks

are these any good, what kind of imformation do you get from them? and is the 'diagnostic plug' in the same place as the listing suggests on our 9Ns?

i programmed my mate's 9n3 which doesn't have an alarm fitted. it doesn't beep but it does flash indicators and the autolock feature also works.
