Check your chassis number:How do you check wheer it was made?
WUWZZZ9NZ2Y******
<Not Used> WUWZZZ <Model> 9N <N/A> Z <Year> 2 <Made> Y <Actual Number> ******
If you have something other than Y, then it was made somewhere other than Spain!
They are the Votex bits I think! Are the bumpers and skirts etc. stock?
TrueIt doesn't matter what VW you own, if you put decent alloys on it it will always look good.

But remember
* Tyres (bound to be expensive)
* Centre caps
* Insurance (can we make that word censored? )

Tyres....alloys...eh?
As I am new to modifying cars...can anyone explain the basics on alloys and tyres as I will be upgrading my Sao Paulo 14" to anther size.
I keep changing my mind after reading the posts and now I'm well confused.
I'm basically looking for to make my SE sportier/lower(without lowering)/ sexier...
Was thinking about 16" but are these less common to buy/mantain?
Would 15" still make my arches look like a black hole(they do now)..with all that space...
Also, I love 17" but again are these getting too big for a polo(warrently/expense)..
I though 16" as its in the middle and still reasonable, but HELP cos now I dont know

Well, your not gonna make it lower without doing lowering of some kind, whether it be coilovers or springs.Ballyhoo wrote:Tyres....alloys...eh?

Putting 16's will make the arches look even bigger (as there is less rubber, you'll be going for 45/205 tyres) and lets not even start on 17's, I'm sure Mole can show you a pic without his car lowered...
Fitting 17's won't affect the warranty, lowering it will but it will only affect the immedeate parts, the rest of the car engine, gearbox, electronics, interior etc etc will all still be covered. If your nice enough to your dealer/if your dealers nice enough to you then they may 'avoid' the fact you have lowered springs, this is what I'm hoping for

Yeh Nelson is right, you aint getting it any lower without lowering
I think you're not going to want to go too big without lowering, 16s would need a 30-40mm drop to look "right" IMHO, more if you want it to look "low". With my 17s I had to drop it about 50mm to look "right", and I've gone 70mm to look nice and low
Nelson, Im sure they would be straight round! No offence taken. Have you seen it now?
